How to be a Mom- A Ninja’s Guide to Parenting

MomHave you been searching How to be a Mom? Looking everywhere for that little golden book, rule, website… anything that will tell you what you need to know to successfully parent your children?

If so, you must feel you need some guidance. You are either a Mom to be, a new mom, a confused mom or a mom who wants affirmation that she is doing everything right. If you are not any of those things, I am confused as to how you stumbled across this very beneficial parenting guide. Either way, Welcome.

If you are looking to find a guide that is chock full of successful parenting practices and direct, step by step instructions on how to be a mom, look no further because I promise you, you won’t find one.

That’s right. You heard me. Maybe you will come close to finding something that gives you direction or details on how to deal with Children. Perhaps you will find a guide that gives valuable parenting advice. No matter what you read, no matter what people tell you, no matter who gives you advice, in the end, the choice is yours and the methods are your own.

I can write the book on parenting methods that work, parenting methods that do not, and how to be a Mom… to MY Children, but even that is a learning process for me. Seeking advice is not a bad thing. In fact, reading up on different methods to parent your children can be beneficial. In the end, you are the parent, you decide what works and you needn’t credit anyone but yourself.

My advice? Stop searching for ways to be the perfect mom. Stop searching for the perfect parenting plan. You will find what works for you. You will find what works for your children, but it’s highly doubtful you will find them all in one place and without using a bit of trial and error.

What does that mean for you?

It means you need to give yourself some credit, It means you need to relax, but mostly it means you can stop searching and trust yourself, your judgement and your abilities. NO one can tell you exactly how to parent your children or how to be a Mom to your children, but YOU.

There have been many times I didn’t know what to do. I have been there. No amount of searching helped me. Confidence in my abilities, and giving myself some credit where credit is due has proven to help a lot.

When your Children see that you exude confidence, it helps them not only know how to be confident themselves, but also lets them know that you are in no way kidding around when it comes to parenting.

What Makes You Feel Confident as a Mother?
