Family Road Trips to the Cottage Just got Easier with Netflix

I remember when I was younger, my parents and sister and I used to travel to stay at a cottage. The drive was insufferable for both us kids AND our parents. I mean, we were little and we were excited about the fun we were about to have! It was, however, a 3 hour trip. That may not seem like a long time but I am sure by our 80th “Are we there yet?” my parents felt like it was an ETERNITY! 

You see, travel and road trips are awesome and all but the kids can and will get bored on long car rides. I always find that playing games of “eye spy” and listening to music helps. We like to take the time to take in the scenery and point out cool things on our ride. These tactics usually work for a while but eventually they lose their luster and the kids get bored and whiny. 

We rarely allow them to bring their tablets though as streaming can cost a pretty penny in data and we are NOT the Rockefeller’s by any means. This has all changed since Netflix has implemented their downloads! We now can download their favourite shows and movies, turn off the data and watch some netflix on the go. Out of downloads on your travels? NO BIG WHOOP because now Netflix has implemented download zones! 

Netflix and Rogers will be helping to break-up that lengthy drive up to the cottage, every long weekend this summer, with the Netflix Download Zone!
