Best Mini Quiche Recipe- Caramelized Onion and Bacon
This Caramelized Onion and Bacon Quiche Recipe is so delicious I could eat it every single day. I am so not kidding. It’s beyond amazing.
The best thing about this quiche, is that you can make it into little mini quiches to take to a potluck or serve as an appetizer at a party. The kids love them, and whenever we make them they gobble them up as fast as they can.
The pastry is amazing, buttery and oh so flaky. It works perfectly with the egg mixture. I swear the last time we made these, I hate like 30. Ok maybe not 30 but, I probably could have if I didn’t have a conscience.
Firstly, I have to say, I love Caramelized Onions and since I have learned how to perfectly caramelize them I make things with them… constantly. Can you blame me? No. No you can’t. Caramelized onions are amazing on EVERYTHING. I eat them on Ice cream. Just kidding. Ok, so maybe not everything! Either way, these quiche boast that delicious caramelized onion flavour and encompass the meaning of BACON. How can you blame me for loving these?! BACON. CARAMELIZED ONIONS. I cry happy tears when I eat these.
Like I said, you can make this into a much larger quiche, I don’t know why you would when you can just make these little two bite ones. Little two bite ones. NOM NOM… NOM! So much easier to justify eating more than your fill of them. Don’t count. Just eat them. Bask in the glory that are these amazing, tiny, little bites of bacon and onion LOVE. You won’t regret it. Not even a little bit. Unless you eat like 60, you probably won’t feel very good after all that. Ok, so maybe keep track. A Little.
