Canada’s Wonderland- On Our Way! #CWTHRILLS
Have you been to Canada’s Wonderland lately? If you haven’t, I suggest it’s time to go get some thrills this summer!
Canada’s Wonderland is located in Vaughan, On just outside of Toronto. The massive park is not hard to miss when traveling in on the highway!
Our family got the chance to visit Canada’s Wonderland with Little Man for his 6th Birthday. We went on a Saturday and the weather was just amazing. We lucked out that day with the weather, as it had been raining on and off for weeks.
We had been preparing for the trip for weeks and Little Man and Baby Girl knew the view of the park well from the highway as we pass it frequently on our way to visit family. Husband and I had been asked quite a few times to go, so when I told Little Man and Baby girl that we were going to Canada’s Wonderland. they spend the better part of a week bragging to all their friends and really anyone that would listen, that we were going! Hearing my two year old say: “We are going to Canada’s Wonderland!” in her little voice just made me that much more excited.
On the day of our excursion, Little Man and Baby Girl woke us up early so we could be sure to get an early start on the day and our travel. Approaching Canada’s Wonderland on the highway was nothing short of exciting as the little ones exclaimed: “I see it, I see it, YAY Canada’s Wonderland!” This was our first visit to the park, Little Man and Baby Girl have never gone and Husband and I haven’t been since we were 11/12 (Which was quite a while ago). We were quite excited to meet up with Uncle Chris and Aunt Allie as well to celebrate Little Man’s Birthday!
We pulled into the parking lot and decided to go with the “Premium Parking”, which was a lot within the lot, but just closer to the park’s entrance. Regular Parking is $20, Premium costs $25. To me it is worth it to pay the extra $5 to park premium as it was easier to access our vehicle if we needed to retrieve something from the parking lot during our stay at the park and we avoided any: “Dude, Where’s My Car.” moments, It was also easier to meet up with those meeting us at the park via their own vehicle.
It was about 9:50am when we got in line to go inside Canada’s Wonderland. The lines moved smoothly and there was not much wait at all! Before we knew it we were inside the park ready to enjoy our day!
Our first stop was the “Height Check” station, where the kids can get measured and given special colour coded bracelets so they know what rides they can and can’t go on without having to measure at every ride! Genious! What a time saver.
Our Favorite Things We Did At Canada’s Wonderland
(In no particular order)
1. There are so many awesome food shops and restaurants to choose from. Our lunch was amazing, and all the treats were delectable! Our dining experience at Canada’s Wonderland was AWESOME!
2. Planet Snoopy was a BLAST! Baby Girl and Little Man couldn’t get enough. Little Man and I also braved the Ghoster Coaster! SO much fun!
4.Splash Works helped to keep us cool and we all loved it!
5. The Adults LOVED the big rides at the park and the water slides at Splash works were a success.
I had such a great time and learned so many fabulous things about Canada’s Wonderland. In fact, I complied a list of tips to get the most out of your Canada’s Wonderland visits, as I can see the benefits of a seasons pass, and the fast lane options.
We had an amazing day at Canada’s Wonderland celebrating Little Man’s birthday. In fact, we were asked by the littles the next day If we could go again right away, and to be honest… I wanted to go back that morning too!

What a fun time you had! Awesome 🙂
Appears that your family had an outstanding vacation at Canada’s Wonderland. Isn’t it funny how families always dream of holidays to hot places and yet this miss the diamonds in the rough destinations within Canada. Thanks for sharing the review…most definitely peaked my interest – as did my 10 year old son Evan, who read/viewed this story.
Thanks

sounds wonderful, when we plan our fall vacation I’ll keep this one in mind. TFS.
great post!
I have never been to Wonderland but it looks like so much fun to go and it has EVERYTHING for the whole family… 🙂
I love living 15 minutes from Canada’s Wonderland however we have had such a crazy busy summer so far that the days when we weren’t busy the weather was horrible. Hoping to take my 12 and 9 year old daughters there sometime in the next couple weeks 🙂
