The @Dyson DC77 Animal Sucks up EVERYTHING! #DysonUnfiltered
The Dyson DC77 Animal does suck, but not in a bad way! It literally sucks up everything. I have never used a vaccum like this is in my entire life and I am stupefied!
With two young children, 6 and 3, two dogs who are both labs, and a husband that I refer to as “Tornado Daddy,” I really need a vacuum that is up to the job of cleaning this disaster. In fact, I was at my last rope. It’s spring and the dogs are shedding something fierce, brushing them is a problem as no matter where I do it, it gets everywhere. The kids are tracking their dirty, sandy shoes into my house, the dogs paws are never dirt free and then “Tornado Daddy” comes home from work.. and well… I wasn’t sure my house would ever be clean again. That’s when I found the Dyson DC77 Animal. Which is the perfect name for it, because not only is it great to clean up after animals, it works LIKE an Animal!
The Other Vacumms
I have spent at least 5 years of my life using different vacuum cleaners that would always inevitably biten the dust, instead of sucking it up! I have spent far more than the cost of a Dyson on these various vacuum cleaners that stop working so quickly.
No matter how many times I cleaned the filter, or emptied the bin, there was always a thick layer of dog hair and dirt left on the floor! It was beyond frustrating.
Then the Dyson came along.. I swear it should have a cape, because, it’s a superhero!

Dyson Groom Tool
With this tool, your Dyson is far more than just an amazing vacuum. It is a pet grooming tool as well! Let me start off by saying that usually both my dogs are SCARED of vacuums. Why? I don’t know. The sound freaks them out or something. When I tried this on them, I was not sure they would love it… but they did. Not only did the dogs love it. I LOVE it. The groom tool is easy to use, just pop it on the hose and vacuum your dog by pressing down on the handle to reveal the bristles. The vacuum sucks up any dead skin on your dog while brushing. When the bristles get full simply release the handle and the hair vanishes into the vacuum. I was amazed by this feature, and my dogs have never looked prettier!
Articulating Hard Floor Tool
This tool is perfect for homes with combination floors. Like ours! We have carpet and laminate through out the house and cleaning them is a breeze with the Dyson DC77 Animal. The Articulating Hard Floor Tool has soft nylon bristles that get into the little nooks and crannys of your flooring and gently removes any dirt or build up.
Stair Tool
The Stair tool is amazing. I am so in love with it. Our front entrance opens into stairs to go up to the main part of the house and stairs that go down to the basement, and they constantly get dirty. People coming in with their shoes on, dogs coming in from outside with messy feet from digging in my tulips… ALL of it. With the stair tool, I can easily clean the stairs without a fuss.
Stiff Bristle Brush
The Stiff Bristle Brush is GREAT for those hard to clean messes like mud or dried up dirt! This has proven very necessary when the dogs come in from a bathroom break outside after it has rained. It cleans up those mucky paw prints in a snap!
Combination Tool
The Combination tool allows you to quickly switch from one tool to another, depending on what it is that you are cleaning! This was also great when it came to storage as it didn’t take up much room on the vacuum cleaner itself!
Tangle Free Turbine Tool
I have to profess my love for this tool. It cleans pet hair from upholstery, without tangling! No more picking that pesky dog hair.. or even my long hairs (I shed too) out of the vacuum! Now I can clean my house without a fuss. This tool has awesome counter moving heads that allow for awesome suction without the worry of getting tangled.

The Dyson DC77 does not require bags, so you are not going to need to spend hours at the store trying to find the right bag size for your vacuum. As far as I am concerned, that saves me money and tons of time. This vacuum also doesn’t require the need to clean or purchase replacement filters. To me, time saved is also money saved because after all time IS money.
5 Year Warranty
I love that all of the Dyson DC77 models come with a 5 year warranty. The warranty covers labour and parts. It gives me such peace of mind to know that if something did go wrong, it would be covered!
The Hygienic Bin
The bin is so easy to empty! I am seriously in love with it. I am kind of afraid of germs, and sometimes, I would freak out that I had to empty our old vaccum because it used to go EVERYWHERE! Not with the Dyson DC77, I literally just press one tiny, little button, and then.. BAM! Clean! So easy.
They REALLY suck!

Ahh….I sooo want one. Several years ago we were vacuum shopping and wanted a Dyson sooo badly but didn’t want to spring for it. We ended up going with something else but ended up getting a dog and named him Dyson! He does his job of cleaning up under the highchair quite well. 🙂 (And funny enough he’s costing us way more than the vacuum would have). Next time we’ll get the real thing!
