Summer Meal Ideas

With summer creeping up on us fast, it’s incredibly important to focus on some healthy, amazing and great tasting summer meal ideas.

Health is important, especially when it comes to feeding your family. There are many different websites and places that can give you ideas when it comes to what to feed your family over the summer months, however picking one that has health on the mind is in your best interests.

Summer cooking is one of my favorite things about those warm, balmy months. I love to BBQ, I love healthy, fresh, light meals that pair well with the heat. I can’t wait to enjoy a lovely family picnic with those that I love and spending long amounts of time searching for fresh and new meal ideas is the furthest thing from my mind. I want to be able to look in one place and find those ideas immediately so that I can spend the rest of that time kicking around a soccer ball, enjoying the pool or just relaxing in the sun with my two little loves.

Health is important to me, no matter when it is that I am cooking. I enjoy feeding my family not only healthy meals but meals that they will always enjoy.

Summer time is a time to be celebrated, enjoy as much time outside as you can with friends and family, relaxing, eating and just enjoying the outdoors! Since we spend so much time outdoors, we do try to do a lot of cooking outside as well. Our BBQ is our best friend all summer long!

I am so excited for summer, cooking, enjoying the sun and the time with my kids, and they are too!

What are your favorite summer activities with your children? Do you have any go to summer meals that your whole family enjoys?

I LOVE summer cooking. The BBQ is always on, and we love things like asparagus, chicken, steak, corn of course, and potatoes. For some reason, healthy eating is so much easier in the summer when you can conveniently use the BBQ 🙂
