We just returned from a visit to the Southern US to visit family and spend some much needed time on the beach. Southern food is my favorite so when I saw fried squash (a childhood fave) in the linky party, I had to include it in my picks.

Fried Squash

Think you are a squash hater? Try it fried and you will change your mine. YUM! I personally like to use patty pan squash and cut it into cubes as it stays crispier than yellow squash cut in circles. Head on over to Everyday Made Fresh for her fried squash recipe.

Key Lime Pie

Another Florida fave. I love the tangy sweetness of key lime pie. I can’t wait to try this delicious looking recipe for key lime pie from Jay Eatz.
