Million Moments of Joy Contest- OVERjoyed, headOVERheels
There are a Million Moments of Joy when it comes to Motherhood, and what a trip it has been. The passed 5 years have been the best of my life, I never knew what true love was until I was a Mother.
With Motherhood, comes many different moments. There are moments when you are OVERjoyed, headOVERheels, (for some) OVERdue, OVERstimulated, OVERthemoon, climbedOVER and so much more!
When our son, I refer to him as Little Man, was born in 2008 I can place the feelings in this moment perfectly. My husband and I were both OVERjoyed. At that moment, I had never been so proud of anything in my life and all he could really do was eat, poop and cry. But, he could also look up at me with those big brown eyes, and those eyes were the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life. My husband and I were OVERjoyed to welcome our little man into the world.
It’s not hard to fall headOVERheels for Little Man, especially when he plants one of these big kisses on me. He has always been such a loving Little Man and I have and always will be headOVERheels for his little hugs, kisses and sense of humor.
When the time came for our second to be born, she did not want to cooperate. No, I wasn’t MUCH OVERdue, but being OVERdue at all when carrying a 10lb baby was too long. Not only was I huge, but I was also OVER people asking me if there were two babies in there.
Once Baby Girl was finally here, weighing a whopping 10lbs, I was OVERstimulated to say the least. I was feeling so many emotions, relief, happiness, exhaustion… that I was unsure of anything but the fact that I was just so in love, all over again! I think my expressions says it all though… My eyes are so wide!
Little Man, Daddy and I were all OVERthemoon when Little Man finally got to meet Baby Girl! He was so happy to be a big brother and Daddy and I were so excited to get to bring her home!
Now, almost 2 years later, I find myself being constantly climbedOVER, but these moments usually lead to feeling OVERjoyed anyways.
