Kellogg’s Treats For Toys- How You Can Give Back this Holiday Season #TreatsForToys #Giveaway

It’s that time of year again. The Holidays are almost here and Kellogg’s has launched their super fantastic Treats for Toys initiative.

Kellogg's Treats for Toys

What is Kellogg’s Treats for Toys?

The Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsforToys program helps bring a smile to children in need by encouraging Canadians to make a toy-shaped Rice Krispies treat and share a picture of it on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook using the #TreatsforToys hashtag. For every image uploaded from now until December 21, 2015, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies will donate $20 to The Salvation Army to buy a toy for a child in need during the festive season.

To see the treats that your fellow Canadians have made and to get some great ideas for yourself, visit: www.treatsfortoys.ca. Or, you can get creative and design your very own.

Our Creations

We decided to make some wonderful creations of our own to share. Not only did we have a lot of fun creating these cute Treats for Toys, we also got to contribute to an amazing initiative. This was a wonderful learning opportunity for our Children, and gave us a chance to open another dialogue about the many ways we can help those in need this Holiday Season. The Children were very excited to create a delicious treat that would help a Child receive a toy.

Baby Girl Made a Robot all by herself. Of course I cut out the shapes, but she decorated it with such finesse. What a wonderfully colourful Robot.

Treats for Toys

Little Man created a pretty cool car. Again, by himself, but I cut the shapes out. It turned our quite gorgeously! Look at all those candies. I have a feeling this one will take days upon days to eat.

Treats for Toys 1

I made a Snowman. Not quite as creative as the Children, but I tried. Got to love the orange Jelly Bean Nose. Yummy!
