Funny Kids Quotes

Well hello there, you must be looking for some funny kids quotes! Well, you came to the right place! If you have been here before, welcome back! You know the deal! Every Friday I share one of Little Man’s Funny Quotes of the week. Check back every Friday for a new knee slapper from my whipper snapper.

Anywhoo, now that we got all that propaganda out of the way, let’s delve in to the hilarity that is my five year old shall we?

Last week Little Man was sitting next to my Grandmother on the couch (His Great Grandmother). They were discussing what was currently playing on the television. My Grandmother was wearing a t-shirt (explaining what my Grandmother was wearing is completely relevant to this topic, I promise.) Little man touched her arm to get her attention for some reason and all of a sudden looked absolutely shocked! My Grandmother asked him what was wrong.

Little Man looked up at my Grandmother with those big brown eyes and proceeded to ask a question that would make any mother want to hide. It was the kind of question that you are grateful your child asked a family member instead of a stranger on the street, or your boss, or anyone else for that matter… It was the kind of question that lead to a lot of other questions and then some laughter.

Little Man asked my Grandmother the following:

“Excuse Me Grandma, but why is your arm so soft? It’s very wiggly and jiggly and scrunchy and squishy. What happened to it? Did the bones fall out?”

Oh. My. Goodness.

Thankfully my Grandma responed with a laugh and the following: “Oh no Little Man, Great Grandma is just getting old and her skin doesn’t hold up things like it used to. There is still a bone in there, it’s just covered in wrinkly skin…”

Thanks for that Little Man…let’s just not ask random people those kinds of questions please…

Too funny! I’m sure that grandma didn’t take it the wrong way, as he’s so young and innocent.

The honestly of children is great. You would never want them to be afraid to ask questions

Kids are honest, sometimes too honest. My friend’s son recently went and squeezed my back fat. lol. The things they do…

LMAO! That quote totally reminded me of when Gilderoy Lockhart tried to repair Harry Potter’s broken arm in the second book (Chamber of Secrets), and he ended up making the bones in his arm vanish, making it all wiggly, jiggly, scrunchy and squishy!

Totally funny!! haha I’m happy your grand-mother has a sense of humor! I’ve been writing down the funny things my kids say on scrap pieces of paper (with dates) and place them in a shoe box. It’s fun going through all the little funny notes.
