The innocence of children astounds me because what can be meant to be sweet, may be offensive. Little Man and I were snuggling on the couch and he snuggled into my arms made some lovey cuddle sounds, looked up at me and said ever so sweetly:
“Oh Mommy… Wow I can’t believe you are so soft and squishy to snuggle, you are like jelloooo! I love you!”
And then he snuggled into me making happy sounds! Well, I agree… it’s been 3 weeks since I had baby girl and my tummy is just like a big bowl of jelly still.. and it WAS sweet that he seemed so satisfied that I am like snuggling with a giant cloud.. but I can’t say I agree with him.. Can’t WAIT to start exercising…. Or maybe I can. But I should start soon considering how “Squishy” I am. I Wonder if Daddy thinks the same thing.
lol love it!! I’ve heard that one before! I have 3 boys & a girl, and my second asked after I had my 4th, what’s wrong with your tummy, all those lines and stuff, when are you going to get a normal belly again. Why thank you for noticing dear! lol
Oh Yeah for sure, I didnt even bother posting about the day he pointed and asked me “Whats that Mommy!?†I said “My Tummy†He said: “NO MOMMY, THE ROADS!†Its funny because I always compared my belly to a road map on my blog- HE NEVER heard those words come out of my mouth- Yet there it was… LOL!
