DIY Old Made New with Honey Nut Cheerios Hearty Oat Crunch & General Mills

Lets start by saying that we have tried Honey Nut Cheerios Hearty Oat Crunch and LOVE it. There I said it…. However, firstly, there are so many classic things that you can convert to something new and trendy. For us, our focus is always on fun new ways to entertain, organize and have fun with the children using items we already have at home. There are so many things that you can re-purpose around your house! It is always fun to discover new uses for objects you no longer need, or that sit at the back of a cabinet in the darkest corner of your basement collecting mass amounts of dust and debris.

We live by the “K.I.S.S” motto, meaning: “Keep It Simple Stupid.” Having two children, we enjoy keeping things as simple and fuss free as possible. When it comes to reusing and repurposing items for use with the kids, we have done many different things, but my all time favorite thing we have done is used old plastic wipes containers for holding small items such as crayons, craft items, sippy cup lids and tops and so on. The kids and I use a glue stick, and a piece of construction paper, decorate it and label it according to it’s contents and then glue the construction paper to the front. Sometimes we use construction paper to cover the bottom and use the stick on letters to label the top or we decorate it with whatever our little hearts desire!
