Yet another Disney movie I couldn’t wait to see. Pete’s Dragon was my favorite Disney animated movie growing up. As I have said before, I am a huge LOVER of Dragons and so are my husband and kids, so it was ONLY natural that we watch this reimagining of Disney’s cherished family film; Pete’s Dragon. Pete's Dragon

What we Love About Pete’s Dragon

We love Pete’s Dragon for many reasons. Firstly, I mean, it’s about Dragons and that’s a win to my family. Secondly, it’s a reimagining of the classic Disney’s Pete’s Dragon I remember as a child! Pete, an orphaned child and his best friend Elliot- who also just happens to be a Dragon (who DOESN’T want a Dragon best friend, I know I do!) experience many different adventures together. The kids were so excited to watch this, and were totally in love with it. Since we got it, I have seen it at least 5 times. No joke! 

Families will be captivated by this magical movie followed by never-before-seen bonus features, including a revealing look at director David Lowery’s personal diary kept during the filming of “Pete’s Dragon,” the design process behind the lovable dragon Elliot, deleted scenes, a tour of the film’s breathtaking production location of New Zealand, audio commentary by filmmakers and actors and hilarious bloopers.

No spoilers I promise, but you aren’t going to want to miss this, so grab yourself and all your friends a copy, wrap it up and put it under the tree. Give the gift of Disney magic this Holiday Season.
