TEAM HELIX- Please Help This 7 Month Old Baby!

If you know me well, you are very aware that I normally participate it writing with hugely sarcastic undertones. However, this is no joking matter. Not for me, and not for the parents of this beautiful 7 month old boy named Helix.
Helix is a 7 month old little joy from a very small town in Northwestern Ontario. He was recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, which is a cancerous tumor. Helix is currently undergoing chemotherapy at The Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg, which is a long 4 hour drive from their home in Northwestern Ontario.
Helix’s parents are with him every step of the way and this young man has a huge backing of people rooting for good health for him and his family.
How You Can Help!
TEAM HELIX is an initiative put together by the residents of Helix’s small town in order to raise funds to cover the expenses the young boy’s parents are incurring to be able to stay with their son during this very trying time. It is very important that these Parents focus all their energies on being with their son, and supporting him through this journey.

My heart goes out to little Helix and his family 🙁 I once worked with a woman who’s daughter had Neuroblastoma, so I know fully well what it’s all about and what Helix and the family are dealing with. It’s such an awful, awful disease to affect little ones. Sending thoughts and prayers to little Helix. He is such a cutie (and I love his name!)
