Recipes for Busy Parents- What’s for Dinner Wednesday

Recipes for Busy Parents Turns out you were searching for some Recipes for Busy Parents. Can’t say I blame you. I am constantly trying out new things to make my cooking life easier and less overwhelming. No one wants to cook while their children are screaming at them for hours about the colour for the sky, or their socks, or just arguing with you about the importance of the colour of their underpants.

Yes, I love to cook and bake and do all kinds of creative things, but mid week… I hit a wall!

So, this week I am setting to work with a great crock pot recipe. I love a meal that I can organize in the morning and serve up hot when the Husband gets home from a long day at work!

Ninja’s Slow Cooked Pork Roast

What Ya Need:

1/2 C. of Beef Broth

2 C. Baby Carrots

1 Large onion, sliced

1 large pork roast

1/2 C. BBQ Sauce

1 Tbsp Worchestershire Sauce

2 tsp Oregano

2 tsp Rosemary

2 tsp Fresh Ground Pepper

What Ya Do:

Place all ingredients up to the pork roast in the slow cooker.

Place Pork Roast on top of ingredients.

Pour BBQ Sauce and Worchestershire over top of the roast, sprinkle with seasonings. Cook on low for 8 hours!

The pork literally just melts in your mouth, I like to serve this with Mashed Potatoes and a salad!
