There is an awesome new App for Parents that want to plan healthy meals in an easier manner! Who couldn’t use an app to help with the grocery shopping, meal planning and ordering food for those busy nights?

Meal Garden is a new App for Parents that allows Busy Parents to schedule their meals, manage Recipes, order Restaurant food, Schedule Meals and get groceries all well monitoring how healthy they are eating! 

The Meal Garden App is an easy to use tool that allows for meal planning in a snap.  There are many different steps to follow and lots of different options when it comes to planning your menu with Meal Garden! 

 Planning a Meal with Meal Garden, is easy, but also very in depth. This is the general idea of what planning a meal to cook at home would look like with Meal Garden. 

As you can see, planning a meal at home is easy with Meal Garden! You can choose where you shop and order your groceries for pick up! Easy Peasy Meal Planning! 

Meal Garden, also allows you to order from you favorite restaurant as well. Making every day simple when it comes to a healthy meal for your family!

Planning for each day is a great way to ensure that you are eating healthy and eating what you want for supper without that last minuet “What are we having for dinner” guessing game.

Our goal is to combine advanced technology (search, mobile, etc.) and an understanding of ‘how it works’ from dialogues with real moms to make healthy meals dead simple.  If we can do this, we’ll free up Parents time for other activities, take the guess work out of healthy eating and ultimately, help to create a foundation of healthy living for future generations.

Meal Garden is virtual marketplace that allows you to easily find healthy meals based on:

• What you and your family like (or dislike)
• Time available for preparation
• Budget
•  Allergies

Think of it as a ‘google’ for meals!

Within The Meal Garden app you will be able to:

• Find recipes from around the web (or from your own cookbook)
• Automatically generate grocery lists for those recipes and assign the list (or portions of) with other family members (i.e. dad) with reminders.
• Pre order the ingredients for pick up from participating grocery stores (yes – this is the future of grocery store service!)
• Search restaurant take-out/delivery options
• Order meal services like Mealspirations, Fresh Canteen, Green Zebra Kitchen, Organic Produce Boxes, etc.
• Submit coupons for reimbursements
• Manage your grocery and meal budget

The system will act as a concierge; managing the scheduling and payment aspects of these processes and even recognizing ingredients on-hand (ie what’s in your pantry).

At the heart of this system is a series of ‘Health Algorithms’. Every recipe or meal in the system is processed through these algorithms to determine a ‘Health Value’. This value is prominently displayed and can be calculated specifically for your family. Simplifying the process of eating healthier.
