{First Pick}
My family absolutely loves making smoothies. We make them on a daily basis and love that we can pack lots of fruits and veggies in one drink. My first pick this week is an Easy Smoothie Recipe with Activia yogurt from Moms & Munchkins. I don’t usually use yogurt in smoothies but I can imagine it tastes great when you do. I’ll be trying Cheryl’s recipe this week!
{Second Pick}
My second pick is one of my favourite side dishes made in the crockpot! See Aimee Cook shares her Crockpot Mashed Potatoes on her blog. This recipe sounds so easy, I don’t know why I haven’t tried it before! Now my only challenge is finding what to serve WITH these mashed potatoes… I’m thinking steaks would be a great idea!
{Third Pick}
My third pick this week is a post from Vactioning with Kids’s post on Teaching your Kids to Bike Smart. This is a great post and a good read at this time of year. Many kids are getting their bikes out of the garage after a cold, long winter. It’s important to review bike rules and make sure bicycles are tuned up, helmets still fit and that everyone remembers to ride safely.
