This Friday Little man has proven that he can make almost any situation have a hint of humour!
He makes me laugh at almost every turn, and this week was no different.
It all started first thing in the morning. I was already downstairs enjoying my coffee with the dogs when Little man came bounding down the stairs. Naked. Like, really naked. TOTALLY naked.
I was a little surprised since he has been doing really well for a very long time, getting himself all dressed and his bed made before he comes down in the morning.
“Um, Little Man, what are you doing down here naked? It’s a school day, you have to get dressed.” I say.
Little man looks at me, still naked, and says in his best authoritative voice:
“I am going to school naked today so you don’t have more laundry to do, who needs clothes anyways… I am freeeee!”
I looked intently at Little Man and explained that I did not mind doing laundry if it meant he would go to school with clothes on. He made a funny face and then matter of factly, informed me that he was “Obviously Kidding!” and ran upstairs to get dressed.
Clearly…. duhh me!
