We were sitting on the couch enjoying a story book all snuggled together, Daddy had been working a lot lately so it was very rare that we saw each other often. Him and little man had been spending time cuddled up past bedtime when he got home from work. That day Little Man told me what they had been discussing one night…. by looking at me and out of the blue saying: “I want to marry a nice lady Mommy”
“What brought that up?” I asked. We had been reading a book about dogs!
He looked at me with those big beautiful brown eyes and said:
“Daddy says he’s lucky cuz he married a nice lady like you Mommy, I want to marry a nice lady too OK?!”
I think Daddy is sucking up, but so SWEET!
