St. Germain’s- Dinner at Casino Rama @CasinoRamaLive #RamaRocks

We had an amazing Date at Casino Rama! After we checked in at the Casino Rama Hotel and got ready, we started our date out for dinner at one of many restaurants at Casino Rama. We chose St. Germain’s for dinner as it’s a steakhouse and I know hubby LOVES steak! 

We made sure that we had reservations as the restaurants can be quite busy, especially on concert nights. We went down a bit early and asked if we could get a table, and they immediately showed us to one!

The restaurant was beautiful, the decor was lovely! We were seated at a very nice table and asked for our drink orders. The waitress was phenomenal! When we were brought the drink menu we were shocked! It was so interesting! The drink menu was on a touch screen that we could go through and read what the drinks were, and pick what we wanted. 

 I got a beer. I went for a nice tall Stella. Hubby, went for a Gin and Tonic. I was brought a frosted glass and had my beer poured to perfection, not even a little foam! Hubby’s Gin and Tonic was also amazing, yes I may have stolen a sip.

Appetizers

We chose what jumped out at us right away and got Lobster Bisque, a Cesar Salad and the Pan Roasted Diver Scallops! The Appetizers were amazing. The Lobster Bisque was rich and creamy, it was in fact, delicious, Hubby and I shared it, and parts of me had to be held back from stealing the rest of it from him. The scallops were, without a doubt, the BEST scallops we have ever had! The Tomato Gizpacho the scallops rested on was the perfect compliment to the dish and we have raved about it to everyone we have spoken to. Everywhere I go, I always order a Cesar Salad, this time was different, not because I didn’t order one, but because it was amazing and quite large. 

 The Main Course

Hubby ordered the 8oz Beef Tenderloin and the 6oz Atlantic Lobster Tail. The steak was cooked to perfection and the Lobster was delicious. 

I ordered the Grilled “Brick” Cornish Hen, it came resting on a bed of Charred Asparagus and Red Onion and topped with a Melted Goat Cheese Mango & Chipotle BBQ Sauce. Delicious. I really enjoyed every bite, the Cornish Hen was extremely tender and juicy, it literally melted in my mouth. The Melted Goat Cheese was so creamy and was a perfect accent to the dish. I can’t say it enough, every single bite of this meal… DELICIOUS. 

The ENTIRE meal was so good that we keep thinking about it and can’t wait to go back to St. Germain’s again! I only wish we had left room for dessert. Next time!
