Kids are Funny- Little Man’s Funny Quote Friday!

Kids are funny. No, seriously. Kids are hilarious. 

 Little Man is quite the comedian and loves to play with his cars. He really loves to have free play on the floor and pretend I don’t exist. Kids are funny. 

He spends a lot of time playing with his cars because they are his favourite things to play with. In fact, he loves playing with them MOST of the time. I am unsure why I bother buying him any other toys at all to be honest. 

I love it when Little man uses his imagination to play. I strongly believe that creative play is very important to a child’s development. I love how great Little man is at making up funny scenarios that he enjoys. 

Here is why kids are funny…

So, I have a pretty good “Funny Quote Friday” this week.  The other day Little Man was playing nicely on the floor with his cars. He was making up scenarios as usual and making his cars speak to each other. They always say things like: “Oh please excuse me.” and “Let’s race.” He loves to drive them around the car rug in large figure 8’s racing each other passed the ice cream stand and the hotels. He is always quite animated while they race.

All of a sudden, the race was over and one of the cars was crying about something. I tuned in a little more to hear what Little man was making them say.

This is when Little Man made me laugh so loud that I am pretty sure the neighbors heard me.

I over heard him make one of his cars say to the other:

“Don’t worry, I’ll help you itch your bum”

That’s…… interesting, to say the least. 

Seriously, where does this kid come up with this stuff? Cars don’t have bums… Kids are funny.
