Halloween is so soon and we are PUMPED! We wanted to try new Halloween Treat Recipes, so we decided to make our own version of the Rice Krispie’s Spooktacular Butterscotch Pops Recipe!
Not only were these fun to make together, but they tasted great! The Butterscotch flavour really came through and we had so much fun using cookie cutters to cut the pumpkin shapes out.
These would be amazing for a Halloween Party! They taste amazing, but they also look cute and would serve as a pretty cool centerpiece!
We really had a lot of fun making these, we decided to make pumpkins but there are a variety of different pops you can make, just use whatever cookie cutters you want!
Rice Krispies Butterscotch Pops Recipe
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
1 package of marshmallows
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of butterscotch flavour instant pudding mix
6 cups of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal
- In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in pudding mix.
- Add Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal. Sit until well coated.
- Using a butters spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13x9x2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool. Use cookie cutter to cut into shapes, insert lollipop sticks and decorate!
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Add pudding mix, stirring until smooth. Follow steps 2 and 3 above. Microwave cooking times may vary.
